The frame and the background are both 100% wood.
The lettering is printed directly onto the wooden background.
The wood background is painted in matte white and can be cleaned with a damp/wet cloth and it will not ruin the print.

I haven't had the chance to hang it yet but when I do, I'll come back and post a picture. The quality of the piece is incredible, and the picture online just doesn't do it justice, it looks so much better in person and the shipping was amazingly fast.
