The lettering is printed directly onto the wooden background.
The wood background is painted in matte white and can be cleaned with a damp/wet cloth and it will not ruin the print.
Saw-tooth hangers are installed on the back for easy hanging.

The picture was of great quality; however the metal hangers on the frame in the back were uneven so it can't be hung securely straight by those and I had to hang by the edge of the frame.
